My artwork is divided into two main categories: theme-based bodies of studio work and loose associations of sketchbook-style ideation.
The studio work was in production from 2011 until late 2013, and the pieces created weaved themselves around three key thematic identifiers;
- The Eye
- Religious Iconography
- Text-Based Semiotics
The rest of my visual works are simple meanderings through a thinly masked concept of humour and titillation, and are the remnants of ideas that never made it further than recording them in my sketchbook; just answers to unasked questions.
My studio work ceased production in November 2013, as I moved to Cambodia in early 2014. Ongoing work has focused on supporting Cambodian arts and artists, and on working with marginalised and impoverished children and youth to generate creative experiences they currently do not have access to.
2019 and 2020 are the restart of creating my own work and collaborative work under the Future Headspace logo, with 2021 the start of the Angkor Fractals project.
