Bang Kert: Create Change

Brief: A CCF leadership student wanted to create a magazine to provide other students with an opportunity to express their opinions, practice their writing skills and communicate with their peers

Date: 2018 – ongoing

Outcome: A youth leadership project was created to help the students’ project manage the magazine’s development. A core group of students manage the project and design the final layout, and then commissions another group to write articles. Students are tasked with editing, asset coordination, administration and coordination. The production group of students are then taught basic graphic design concepts and how to use the Adobe InDesign software to produce the final product.

Bang Kert: create change is a student magazine created by teenagers at Cambodian Children’s Fund. Working with designers and writers to facilitate a student lead project. The students created all design concepts, magazine themes, articles, and print production in class and special training workshops.

  was created after COVID-19 school closures in 2022
  
• The fourth magazine
  was created for the CCF 20th anniversary in 2024
